Long overdue tasting of some new releases from iconic and historic Tahbilk Winery based in Nagambie Victoria. On this edition we are looking at three reds from the 2016 vintage, let me know your thoughts below.

Tahbilk Shiraz 2016 – RRP $25.70
Tahbilk Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 – RRP $25.70
There is a soft spot in my vinous heart for Tahbilk, due in some part for the historical significance of the winery, and also the fact that CEO and owner Alister Purbrick was a guest on The Vincast wine podcast. The lovely team at Fireworks PR sent me some samples to taste, and these are my impressions. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

I’m no stranger to Tahbilk Wines, having not only tasted a number of releases over the last 12 months on Let’s Taste, but also having chatted with owner Alister Purbrick on my wine podcast The Vincast about one year ago. They sent me some new releases for Spring, and I opened them up to have a look. The four wines were;
Cane Cut Marsanne 2012 (500ml)
Tahbilk Marsanne, Riesling & Viognier 2016 and Cane Cut Marsanne 2012
