My son Ollie and I took an opportunity to look at two Galli Estate wines – generally donated by recent guest of The Vincast wine podcast, winemaker Ben Ranken – this time from their Heathcote vineyard. Having worked with Sangiovese and Nebbiolo in the last two vintages I was very interested to see how Ben crafted these varieties, and I was very happy with their style considering the prices.
